  • Condition: Good-Very Good overall vint cond: For sale is this estate fresh & recently decommissioned from a lifelong toy collection in southern NH, early 20th c Metalcraft vint enml pntd pressed steel grn, blk & silver metal wheel, enclosed delivery truck. The grn enml of the enclosed rear is orig, 1st gen enml pnt, w/a yellow stenciled 'Metalcraft' maker's name on the side of the box. The metal tires are pntd in silver paint, as well as the cab's front grille. The cab has front metal fenders, while there are none in the back. Often missing w/these enclosed delivery trucks is the rear, hinged tailgate. This isn't the case w/this Metalcraft delivery truck. As mentioned, the grn enml appears to be 1st gen paint, while there's evidence the blk enml pntd cab & undercarriage were repntd (resprayed) in blk enml at some juncture. A wonderful, early American vint, pre-WWII enml pntd pressed steel delivery truck. Without depreciating episodes of oxidation, dents or dings. A classic American toy. Great.
