Hot Wheels are based on 1/64 scale: close to Ho Model Railroad scale. Model builders and artists make customs from mild to wild. A mild custom may just be paint or custom real rider wheels added. A wild custom can get really crazy with opening doors, hoods, detailed motors, custom graphics and paint. For custom diorama in HO scale model railroading and HO scale slot car to add display pieces, rail cargo, garage shop, car dealership, car race spectator vehicles, emergency response, EMT, Ambulance, Fire and Police stations and more.
