    Description

    R M Young #650 Wind Monitor - Wind Sensor - Anemometer. I think the #650 number is from the Weather Pak. On the side of the plastic box that says Young on the cover is the number 17137.
    This anemometer came off a Weather Pak system made by Coastal Environmental Systems. It was retired when we could no longer support the weather station arcane MS-DOS interface about 15 years ago. I am pretty sure it was working when the weather station was retired, but cannot say for sure. I have not tested it.
    There is a crack on the plastic ferrule that holds the propeller on. See picture.
