Rhodochrosite - Natural Untreated Old Stock

Natural Rhodochrosite specimen with crystallized top and bottom. This piece was part of a large, thin plate of Rhodochrosite. This is an unusual habit of this mineral for this locality, where most specimens are stalactite sections or fragments.
I acquired this material from an old jewelers estate, who had purchased most of his minerals back in the 70s-80s.
