Tonka 24 Hour Wrecker Bed Section for Parts - Used

Here is a bed and boomsection from a mid to late 1970’s Tonka 24 Hour Wrecker in real decent andsolid condition. (Sorry no boom included) The blue paint coverage is very goodfor a piece this old; I don’t think it’s faded that much but there are light scratchesfrom play wear - nothing too serious. Incidentally both 24 Hour Wrecker decals arein very good shape. There were some slight bangs and one dent on the driver’sside quarter panel that I had to take this piece apart to straighten out, butnow it’s not too significant. Maybe you’ll feel the need to straighten it outfurther. It shows the normal amount of corrosion underneath and on the frontbed panel – where the boys from Mound Minnesota didn’t bother to paint. Therear bumper is straight, both tabs for the boom tilt stop are there. There isone flaw I just noticed: the front mounting tab for the passenger’s sidequarter panel is broken off, which isn’t a problem for the savvy Tonka rebuilder.I’ve included a picture of the same type of Tonka Wrecker from my personalcollection so we’re on the same page with this item - it is not included inthis auction.
