Vintage (1920s) The Archers Company Pinehurst NC Self Bow 30# 60" Wood Longbow

Description

This is a "The Archers Company", Pinehurst North Carolina wood bow made in the 1920s.  It has finish loss and signs of wear (see pics).  The handle is cord but may have originally been leather.  The length is measured from string nock to string nock along the curve of the limbs.  The wood is possibly
White Pine Camp
.  The decal reads:

MAKERS OF FINE BOWS AND ARROWS
BY THE VILLAGE OF PINEHURST NORTH CAROLINA
Stamped on the flat portion of the limb near the grip is:
The Archer's Company
Pinehurst, N. C.
The number 30 is stamped on the limb.
A string is not included.
