Vintage 1940s Pink Crepe Baby Robe & Matching Bonnet Hand Embroidered

This is a pretty and rather unique baby gown or robe in that it is so long, 30".  It is made of a crepe fabric in a pale peachy pink shade.  It is trimmed around neck, sleeves and bonnet with val lace and was embroidered with little vines on the upper front and then with French knots all around the sleeves, collar, up and down the front openings and all around the hem.  Bonnet has tiny flowers cross-stitched on the front.  I think this would fit a pretty big baby as it measures 14 1/2" across the underarms and 14" around the neck.  The little matching hat has a circumference of about 11" but closes with satin ties so that could be bigger.  There is no fastener, right now it's held together with a pin.  I note only 2 small very light stains pictures 8 and 9; otherwise this little outfit is in very good condition, baby will make quite an impression.  I can mail this First Class in a padded envelope.
